Dancing on Ice: Liberty Poole goes behind the scenes in training
Dancing On Ice returned to our screens on Sunday night, with a whole new batch of celebrity skaters trying their luck on the ice.
Love Island’s Liberty Poole, Coronation Street’s Sally Dynevor, Regan Gascoigne, Ben Foden and Paralympian Stef Reid are just a few of the famous faces hoping to be crowned skating champions this year.
Each week, the celebrities will compete to wow the judges and impress viewers watching at home – after training hard all week with their professional partners.
Live shows are renowned for their glitz and glamour, but behind the scenes things are a little less polished.
The likes of Liberty and Sally have given fans a taste of what happens off-camera as they get to grips with a rigorous workout routine.

On Saturday – before the big first show – Sally, 58, delighted fans when she shared footage of herself in a dressing gown skating late into the night with partner Matt Evers.
Dressed in cozy, fluffy coats and transparent protective visors, the duo gave their supporters a glimpse of what the normally crowded, completely empty ITV rink looks like.
The Coronation Street star beamed as she slipped into her gray dressing gown – knowing the next time she hits the ice she’ll be sporting a more glamorous look.

Sally isn’t the only Dancing On Ice star to share behind-the-scenes snaps from the ITV show.
Love Island’s Liberty also updated fans on the hard work needed to be ready for the show on Sunday night.
The reality TV star took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday morning to reveal where she buys fuel for her workout stamina – Greggs!
“Workout today. I usually stopped by Greggs every day,” the blonde beauty told her 1.5 million followers.

“Me and Joe can’t function without it. A nice pâté, a hot chocolate – yum!!
Liberty – who is partnered with professional skater Joe Johnson – then shared more snippets from her training schedule.
“Transforming the least elegant person into a ballet student,” the star captioned a clip of herself posing and twirling on Tuesday morning.
The rookie skater then headed to the dance studio – sharing some clips of herself writhing on the floor with Justin Timberlake’s hit singer, Sexy Back.

“So much fun with you,” she told her partner Joe, as they giggled on the studio floor.
Liberty then credited her mentor’s teaching skills and revealed that before her appearance on the ITV show she had never even had a single dance lesson.
Sharing a clip of the pair dancing in perfect harmony together, the star wrote, “Considering I’ve never had dance lessons before, I’m proud to be @joejohnson’s best teacher!”
Joe returned the compliment on his own Instagram Stories, telling his celebrity partner, “You’re such a pleasure to dance with. I CAN’T wait for Sunday.”
This weekend’s offering on Dancing On Ice will see all of the famous contestants go head-to-head on the ice for the first time – except for Rachel Stevens.
The S Club 7 singer has suffered an injury that will make her unable to perform on Sunday night.
A spokesperson for the show said on Wednesday: “Due to an injury sustained in training and on the expert advice of medical professionals at Dancing on Ice, Rachel Stevens will not be skating on the show. of this Sunday.
We look forward to her returning to the show next weekend.”
* Dancing on Ice airs Sundays at 6.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
