Model Training Day returns November 7 at Black River Landing

Anyone interested in learning more about tabletop railroads can attend the free model training day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 7 at the Black River Landing Transportation Center of the Funding Authority. and from Lorain Harbor, 421 Black River Lane in downtown Lorain.

The day dedicated to model railroading has become an annual event in Lorain.

It is sponsored by the National Model Railroad Association Mid-Central Region Division 4, with members from Lorain, Cuyahoga, Huron, Erie and Medina counties.

There will be door prizes and gifts, projects and information on model scales, inclement weather and landscapes, benches and modules, laying of rails, wiring and electronics, necessary tools and Moreover.

It is open to all ages and skill levels.

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Model train enthusiasts gathered for the fifth annual day of model train training held on November 3, 2019 at the Black River Landing Transport Center of the Lorain Port Authority in Lorain.
