Roxy Regional Theater acquires Backstage Costume Rentals

Clarksville, TN – After more than 30 years in the business, George Terrell, founder of Backstage Costume Rentals, has retired from the costume business.
In an effort to preserve its hard work and continue to provide exceptional costume services for Clarksville-Montgomery County and surrounding communities, Roxy Regional Theater recently took over management and ownership of Backstage Costume Rentals.

The entire Backstage Costume Rentals collection now resides at the Roxy Regional Theater in downtown Clarksville.

“It took years to purchase Backstage Costume Rentals. When the opportunity presented itself, it was a no-brainer to add this service under the Roxy Productions, Inc. umbrella and incorporate these items into our stock already vast array of costumes, wigs and props,” said Ryan Bowie, executive director of the Roxy.

Backstage Costumes is a full-service costume shop with a diverse inventory of rental costumes, buy-to-let costumes, accessories, stage makeup, and more. The collection includes everything from superheroes to retro apparel, mascots, tuxedos and over 1,000 sequin dresses. Roxy Regional Theater Backstage Costume Rental will continue to provide exceptional service from downtown Clarksville.

In addition to providing costume rentals to the general public, Roxy Regional Theater will also present costume stock in upcoming professional productions as well as renting full costume plots to other regional theaters in Central Tennessee and beyond. of the.
