Strictly’s Jayde Adams is stuck in a tear-off costume in hilarious behind-the-scenes clip

Jayde Adams shared a behind-the-scenes clip of a costume malfunction ahead of its premiere Come dance strictly performance.

The first live show on Saturday, September 24 saw the comedian compete alongside its co-competitors for the first time, performing a samba to Christina Aguilera’s “Dirrty” with her partner Karen Hauer.

The routine started with Adams in a cleaning closet, before stepping forward and ripping off her jumpsuit to reveal a black dress.

However, in a clip shared on his Instagram on Sunday, September 25, the comedian’s original costume failed to tear off.

Adams saw the funny side and doubled over laughing, then pulled a few moves out of the routine in the suit.

“A professional,” a member of the audience could be heard shouting, Adams then kissing Hauer.

The comic scored 23 out of 40 points for its first routine.

Discuss his partnership with Hauer during the Strictly launching the show, Adams said, “Karen is Strictly. I’m so happy to be with a girl.

Adams said she always felt more comfortable with the idea of dancing with a woman on Strictly.

Adding that she didn’t want to “offend all the boys on the show,” she said, “They’re not strong enough and that’s not my fault.”

Growing up, Adams used to compete in disco freestyle dance competitions with his sister Jenna, who died of a brain tumor in 2011. The last time Adams danced was with his sister.

In a recent interview with The IndependentAdams said that Come dance strictly is “everything I’ve worked towards”.
